A: Yes. To complete the Energy & Flow by rREST portion of the course, attendance during the full weekend workshop is required.
Q: I don’t have any experience with energy work, will this prevent me from being a successful student?
A: Definitely not! As a matter of fact, our curriculum starts with the fundamentals of energy work and there is no experience required. The course is set up in a way that learning becomes very easy and natural.
Q: Is Reiki Attunement and Certification the same thing?
A: Our students will get two benefits from completing the rREST Certified Coaching Program. The first benefit is that you will be Reiki Level I & II attuned, which gives you the ability to provide Reiki services. Once you are attuned by a Reiki Master to Reiki Level I & II, you will be able to provide Reiki services to your clients. The second benefit is that, upon completing the rREST Certification Course requirements, you will also be certified to provide rREST Coaching services.
Q: If I am already Reiki attuned, can I get a credit for that part of that course?
A: Our Reiki course is fundamental to the rREST practice we teach. To become a rREST Coach, you will need to take our Reiki course since it’s taught with the rREST technique in mind.
We have found that people who have the Energy & Flow training have an easier time learning rREST than people who do not. You will have an advantage since you are already Reiki Attuned. And, we feel it is very important for you to participate fully in the Reiki training that is part of the rREST Certification program for the reasons above. We think you will love the experience and find it very valuable. During the Reiki weekend, we have some special teaching about the biology and science of Reiki that you will find especially interesting and useful as you learn rREST.
Q: Can I take the rREST Certification without taking the Energy & Flow course due to religious beliefs?
A: rREST without Energy & Flow isn’t rREST. When we teach Energy & Flow, we can be assured that every student has what they need to be able to do rREST. Without teaching them Energy & Flow, we won’t know. In fact, we don’t even let people who have already had a Reiki course with another instructor skip OUR Energy & Flow course because we think it is so fundamental to the rREST work. We hope you understand our position as we think about the future of our program. If you would like to study rREST with us, we would love to have you, and the Energy & Flow piece will be required.
At rREST, we value everyone’s religious beliefs and have found that each faith practice brings its own benefits to the practice of Reiki.
You bring your religion to your practice. Your spiritual guides are your own and when practicing Reiki you are free to practice Reiki within the context of your individual spiritual beliefs. We encourage you to reflect on this decision and seek more clarification if needed.
Q: Are there any materials I can review to prepare for my upcoming course?
